Built for how a café actually runs
Most café orders are small, fast and customised: an extra shot, oat milk, less sugar, a sandwich to go. The morning rush leaves no time for slow screens, and regulars expect to be remembered. Dineligent is set up for exactly that.
Add extras without slowing down
Start from the Café menu template, with hot coffee and coffee extras, cold drinks, sandwiches and burgers with their extras, and desserts already set up with GST. Then make it yours.
- Sizes: Regular or Large in one sheet
- Add-on groups with limits: such as “Choose 1” milk or “Up to 3” extras, with the live price on the button
- Notes: “less sugar”, “extra hot”, printed on the KOT
- Combos: any coffee plus any sandwich, with optional extra charges
Let guests see the bill and pay by UPI
Put a small tablet facing the guest. While you bill, it shows every item and add-on with the total. Once billed, it shows a UPI QR for the exact amount: “Scan to pay ₹649.00”. No asking for the UPI ID, no wrong amounts. After payment it says “Thank you! Visit again.” UPI payments
Bring your regulars back
Know them at the counter
Enter a mobile number and a returning guest is recognised: visits, total spent, points and their usual orders from the last 30 days. Tag them, such as VIP or Jain food.
Loyalty points
Set how many rupees earn a point and what a point is worth. Points are earned on what guests pay in money and redeemed on later bills.
Coupons
Create codes like WEEKEND20 with a minimum bill, dates and a usage limit. They’re checked at the counter.
WhatsApp campaigns to guests who agreed to offers are coming soon.
Happy hours that run themselves
Set a % off or buy-1-get-1 rule on one item or a whole category, for chosen weekdays and a time window, such as 5 PM to 7 PM. The POS applies it automatically, so staff don’t have to remember.
Takeaway, tables or both
Takeaway orders get a daily token number and bill-and-pay in one step. If you have seating, use the live table board or let guests order from a QR on the table, with no app to install. KOT and kitchen display
A menu board that’s always right
Turn a TV above the counter into a digital menu board with prices and veg or non-veg marks. Items you mark out of stock show Sold out at once, and price changes appear after the next sync, with no reprinting.
Cafés run on Wi-Fi that drops
Billing, UPI payments, printing and shift close all work offline, with no time limit. Everything syncs when the internet is back. Offline POS
Know what sells, and what makes money
See today’s sales by hour from your phone, find your top items, and use menu engineering to spot which drinks are Stars and which are Dogs. Track coffee beans and milk with recipes that deduct stock from every sale. Reports · Inventory
